Columbus City Utilities will be launching a new billing system in June, 2024. Every CCU customer will receive a new paper invoice by mail in June, 2024.
Online Payments are Changing
If you pay your bill online or have set up Auto Pay in the past, you’ll need to set up a new account with your new account number when you receive your new bill.
- Once you receive your June invoice in the mail, visit columbusutilities.org
- Look for the Pay Your Bill button, then select Sign In/Register
- Enter your email address and create a password. You will receive an email requesting activation.
- Once you login, click Utility Billing, then choose Add Account, then enter your new five-digit account number from your invoice as well as your name.
- Once you create your account, you can pay your current bill
- After paying your current bill, you can enroll in Auto Pay to have future bills automatically paid by credit or debit card.
You can also use the Quick Pay feature to pay your bill without setting up an account.
Please note: if you use a bill pay system through your financial institution, you will need to re-add or edit your CCU information to include your new account number.
Customers may also continue pay by mail, or in-person at our lobby or drive-up.
